BLOODY TIGER AND SWEETENED DEER
Author: Sohel Karim
Wherever that bloody tiger goes,
Fearful eyes, sweating forehead,
Deer, yellowish deer, sweetened eyes,
Standing on the brim of flowing river.
Am I trying to write a poem?
Chattering words, bombshell,
Bombardments of thousands lashing tongues
Fluttering mind quivering with rusty joy.
Rustling leaves gliding, faltering
In the air of milky dreams.
What is soul? What is death?
White questions. Black answers.
I see sky, limitless depth, astounding,
Where am I, who am I, interstellar mind
Vibrating like a raging bull.
Bloody tiger and sweetened deer,
On the top of my boiling shoulder.
Dancing, clattering
Like a pair of innocent child.
